Diamond in the Rough

Last night I ate at Agra Indian Kitchen on Lincoln just north of Washington. It was very good, probably the best moderately-priced Indian west of Culver City/Palms. They are exceedingly proud of their description as "a diamond in the rough," and I chuckled at the implication that Lincoln (or, most of Venice?) is rough.
